Do you experience food insecurity? You are not alone. Our goal is to combat food insecurity on our campus and in our local community. We want to work together to end the stigma and make a change. So where can we start? Well, we feel it's important to hear from YOU. Your voice matters and by sharing your story we can begin the fight to end hunger in Emporia. #EmporiaEats
Sharing Your Story
This is your experience. You get to decide how you want to voice it. You can write it out, record audio or video, or take a photo to contribute to our Padlet feed or share it on social media using #EmporiaEats. You can also submit your story in writing to our online form. Instructions for each are listed below.
If you do not feel comfortable sharing your identity you do not have to list your name. We only require that you either live in or have a connection with Emporia, KS. We also ask that you do not share the names of other people.

Next Steps
By sharing your story with us, you will be helping us better understand what food insecurity looks like locally and identify strategies to help address it. Our goal is to combat the stigma around food insecurity as well as educate others about this topic and why it needs attention.
Your story will only be shared with the above goal in mind and will not mention your name or identifying details unless you would like to be identified.
